Big projects, sold on a generic quote form

Cornerstone builds homes and commercial spaces that take months and real budgets — the kind of decision a client needs evidence to make. Their site offered one stock photo of a hard hat and a vague contact form with no sense of scale.

The Cornerstone Construction homepage shown on a laptop and a phone, a photograph of a construction worker on site with the headline Building Your Visions.
A confident headline over a site with no completed projects shown anywhere — a serious gap for a company asking clients to commit six-figure budgets.

The problem

A construction company selling residential and commercial builds is asking clients to commit significant money to a project that won't exist for months. That kind of decision runs on evidence — completed work, project scale, realistic budgets — none of which the old site provided.

The quote form asked for nothing more than a name and message, giving the estimating team no sense of project type, budget range or timeline before the first call. Every lead started from zero, and a fair number turned out to be well outside the range Cornerstone actually builds.

There was no portfolio at all — a serious omission for a business whose actual differentiator is the visible quality of finished buildings.

The approach

Three moves, in order.

01

Show the scale of past work

A project gallery of completed residential and commercial builds replaces the single stock photo, giving prospective clients a real sense of what Cornerstone has actually delivered.

02

Qualify the budget before the first call

The quote form now captures project type, estimated budget range and timeline, so the estimating team can tell in seconds whether a lead is in scope.

03

Separate the services by scale

Residential Building, Commercial Building and Renovations each get their own page, since a homeowner and a commercial client are looking for very different reassurance.

The work

What we built.

The new homepage

The new Cornerstone homepage on desktop and mobile: a high-contrast black and yellow hero reading We build it right, above a photograph of a finished building.
The homepage, leading with a finished building at the scale Cornerstone works at — the evidence the old stock photo never provided.
The our projects page: a grid of six construction project photos, each showing a different completed residential or commercial build with a project name caption.
Real finished projects, the evidence a client needs before committing a major budget.
The request a quote page: a form with project type dropdown, property address, estimated budget range and timeline fields.
A quote request scoped by budget and timeline, so the estimating team knows what they're looking at before the call.
The services page: a three-card grid for Residential Building, Commercial Building and Renovations, each with a line icon and short description.
Three service lines, separated so the right kind of client lands on the right reassurance.

“We were asking people to trust us with real money and showing them one stock photo. Now they see actual finished projects at the scale we build, and the leads that come in are already qualified on budget.”
