What we collect

Only what you type into a form, and only when you send it.

• Estimate requests — your name, email, optionally a company name and a note, together with the answers you gave the estimator.
• Contact messages — your name, email and your message.
• Email you send us directly — whatever is in it.

We do not ask for, and have no way to take, payment details through this website.

What we do not collect

This site has no analytics, no advertising pixels and no cookies. We do not know how many people visit it, where they came from, or what they looked at. That is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight.

The chat assistant runs entirely in your browser. It matches what you type against a fixed list of answers written in advance — nothing you say to it is sent anywhere, stored, or read by us, unless you then choose to submit a form.

What your browser stores

The assistant keeps a single value, aw_session, in your browser’s session storage. It is a random identifier that lets a form submission be matched to the conversation it came from. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to an advertiser, and your browser discards it when you close the tab.

Third parties

Two things on this site are served from elsewhere, which means those companies can see your IP address and browser when the request is made:

• jsDelivr — a public CDN, for one small animation library.
• Unsplash — for one photograph.

Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. Messages you send us arrive in our email, which is hosted by our email provider and subject to their terms.

What we do with it

We reply to you, and we prepare the quote or answer you asked for. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted once they are plainly stale. Records connected to actual work are kept for as long as we need them for the project and for whatever period our accountant and the tax authorities require afterwards.

Your choices

Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you formal rights over your personal data — the UK and EU under GDPR, Canada under PIPEDA, California under the CCPA, among others — those rights apply and we will honour them.

There is no account to close and no subscription to cancel, because we do not create either.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions travel encrypted. We keep the software behind it patched, because that is also the service we sell. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. We do not keep an archive of previous versions; if a change matters to you, ask and we will explain what moved.
